A kick-off meeting was held at SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden on November 5 2007. All the participants, except the Bulgarian representative, were present. After the co-ordinator, Kristina Mjörnell, had welcomed everybody to the SQUARE project, short presentations of each of the participants organisations and resources were made. Thereafter each task (work package) leader presented the aim, activities and deliverables of their task.
The meeting offered a good opportunity to get to know the different project partners, who represented different kinds of actors such as research organisations, universities, architectures, developers, housing associations, municipalities/building owners. To further in-depth discuss the content of the project was of course of equal importance.
The day ended with some typical Swedish dishes in a nice warm restaurant at the heart of Borås.
